I <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> I <br /> I This report presents a summary of activities and results for the groundwater monitoring program <br /> conducted during the fourth quarter of 2000 (December 6, 2000) and the first quarter 2001 (March 21, <br /> 2001)at U-Haul Facility#709-50 located at 2701 North Wilson Way in Stockton, California The report <br /> presents a brief summary of site background, previous groundwater monitoring results, and the <br /> procedures and results from the two current groundwater monitoring quarters <br /> I <br /> 1 1 _SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br />' U-Haul Facility 709-50 is located at 2701 North Wilson Way on the northwest comer of the intersection <br /> of North Wilson Way and Sanguinettl Lane in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is situated in a <br /> commercial area and is currently used as an equipment storage and rental facility The site is generally flat <br /> with a slight grade to the south and east and the site elevation is approximately 21 feet above mean sea <br /> level A general site plan is included as Figure 2 <br /> 1 2 PROJECT AUTHORIZAIJON <br /> In January 1999, Blaes Environmental was contracted by Amerco Real Estate Company/U-Haul <br /> International to conduct a soil and groundwater remediation program at the site The remediation <br /> program included quarterly groundwater monitoring and reporting Due to requests made by the San <br />' Joaquin County (SJC), Blaes Environmental conducted additional site characterization activities prior to <br /> implementing a remedial program A summary of the results of additional site characterization are <br /> Ipresented in Section 2 3 <br />' 13 PROGRAM OBJECTIVES <br /> The objective of the ongoing quarterly monitoring program is to provide data (monitoring and analytical <br />' data) to evaluate groundwater conditions beneath the site With the addition of eight new monitor wells <br /> at the site, groundwater monitoring wells are now screened across three depth intervals Groundwater <br />' samples were collected within each of the three casings (upper, middle, and lower) during both sampling <br /> events in December 2000 and March 2001 <br /> 07/10/01 <br /> Blaes Project#002-70950-02 1 bjm C 1BLAES\U-Hau1170950170950r101 doc <br />
