According to the <br /> owner,Aziz Sher,the monitoring panel was disconnected and removed approximately three weeks ago. The <br /> system is not currently being monitored for leaks. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br /> stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Correct immediately by having a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor restore <br /> all monitoring to this system, or remove all fuel from the USTs within 48 hours and immediately comply with closure <br /> requirements. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 309 CCR 2666(b)(2), 2636(f)(1) Failure to have continuous monitoring that activates audible-visual alarm or stops flow at <br /> dispenser. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 87 and 91 underground tank systems at this facility are no longer in use.
