FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a <br /> I California Registered Geologist Procedures for well installations, well development and soil <br /> and ground water feasibility pilot testing procedures are described below <br />' 4 1 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br />' A soil boring for installation of a ground water extraction well will be advanced to a depth of <br /> 55 feet bsg utilizing a truck-mounted,hollow-stem drill rig and 10-inch diameter hollow-stem <br /> augers, a soil boring for installation of an SVE well will be advanced to a depth of 40 feet bsg <br /> utilizing 8-inch diameter hollow-stem augers, a soil boring for installation of an 1AS well will <br /> be advanced to a depth of 55 feet bsg utilizing 8-inch diameter hollow-stem augers, two soil <br /> borings for installation of shallow ground water monitoring wells will be advanced to depths <br /> of 55 feet bsg utilizing 8-inch diameter hollow-stem augers and four soil borings for installation <br /> of multi-level ground water monitoring wells will be advanced to depths of 145 feet bsg <br /> utilizing 8-inch diameter hollow stem augers Soil cuttings will be placed in a southwest portion <br />'. of the site and covered with plastic sheeting, rinseate generated during drilling activities will <br /> be containerized in properly labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums, and stored on-site in an <br /> area lacking public access Disposal alternatives for rmseate and stockpiled soil will be selected <br /> 1 based on results of a laboratory analysis <br />■ <br /> Soil samples will be collected at five-foot intervals for logging purposes, selected soil samples <br />' will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified <br /> laboratory for the following constituents <br />' 0 TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br /> • BTEX compounds and MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 8020, <br />' 0 Fuel oxygenated compounds including MTBE,TAME,di-isopropyl ether(DIPE),ethyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE)and tertiary butanol(TBA)by EPA Method 8260 Modified, <br /> and <br />' 0 1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) and ethylene dibromide (EDB) by EPA method 8260 <br /> Modified <br /> i & Total lead by EPA Method 7420 <br />' Laboratory reports for soil analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality <br /> control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a <br /> • report with findings and recommendations <br />' Advanced GeaEnvironmental,Inc <br />
