S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> DESTINATION ANYWHERE INC 360 ARBOR AVE, TRACY July 01, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed in the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One used paper oil filter on top of one 55-gallon drum with hydraulic fluid observed not containerized. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately containerize and manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed in the hazardous waste storage area located adjacent to the <br /> mechanic shop: <br /> -Secondary containment for one 300 gallon used oil tote observed with approximately 1 inch of accumulating used <br /> oil inside. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility spill control equipment shall be maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the Secondary containment for one 300 gallon used oil into proper working order by <br /> removing the liquid in the secondary containment and placing in the proper waste container.
