S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> DESTINATION ANYWHERE INC 360 ARBOR AVE, TRACY July 01, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> -Two 5-gallon bucket with used oil and oily solids observed with no lids in hazardous waste storage area. <br /> -One 5-gallon bucket fill with used oil observed with no lid located in the west side of the property near two 55-gallon <br /> drums with product hydraulic fluid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed throughout the property: <br /> -One empty 55-gallon drum with hydraulic fluid label observed without any empty date. Located on the south west <br /> side of the property. <br /> -Two empty 55-gallon drum with hydraulic fluid label observed without any empty date. Located underneath rubbish <br /> on south side of the property. <br /> -One empty 300 gallon tote with DEF (diesel exhaust fluid)label observed with no empty date. <br /> Note: Operator stated that empty containers belong to property owner. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous <br /> waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66261.7. Refer to this section <br /> and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage <br /> within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7.
