Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan <br /> An eye wash station , spill kit and fire extinguisher are located near the HHMA CSA ( see Figure 2 ) . <br /> Emergency contact information is posted near the HHMA CSA . Personnel in the area use two -way <br /> radios or cell phones for communication . Emergency response equipment information is provided in <br /> Section 7 . <br /> The HHMA CSA is the 90-day storage area that is inspected weekly by the Emergency Coordinator, <br /> or designee , and recorded on a Weekly Inspection Form located in Appendix A . During the weekly <br /> inspection , the Emergency Coordinator, or designee , checks for spills and leaks , proper signs , <br /> adequate aisle spacing , labeling , condition of containers , segregation of incompatibles , proper <br /> storage of ignitables , and condition of emergency equipment for the area . Completed inspection <br /> forms are maintained electronically for a minimum of 3 years . <br /> 5 ARRANGEMENTS WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES <br /> In the event that outside assistance is necessary to contain and clean up a hazardous waste fire , <br /> explosion , or release , the Emergency Coordinator will request off-site support . The local authorities <br /> have been given a copy of this Contingency Plan in order to familiarize themselves with the Site . See <br /> Appendix C for the distribution list . The layout of the Site on Figure 2 shows evacuation routes and <br /> emergency equipment . <br /> Where more than one police and fire department respond to an emergency , the senior official on site <br /> from the Tracy Fire Department has the primary authority . The others are to provide support to the <br /> primary emergency authority . A list of emergency response agencies and contractors can be found in <br /> the emergency contact list in Section 3 . 3 , <br /> 6 PERSONNEL ' i RAINING <br /> All Site personnel are required to complete annual basic hazardous materials / hazardous waste <br /> training . Designated personnel such as the Emergency Coordinators must complete annual full <br /> hazardous materials / hazardous waste training . Records of hazardous waste training are maintained <br /> for Site personnel for at least 3 years . <br /> The Home Depot hazardous materials / hazardous waste training include information from 40 CFR <br /> Parts 261 , 262 , and 265 . It also includes transportation requirements provided in 49 CFR Parts 172 <br /> and 173 . <br /> 7 EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT <br /> Fire extinguishers are located adjacent to the HHMA CSA and throughout the Site building . The fire <br /> extinguishers can be used by properly trained associates to put out small , incipient stage fires2 .
