i <br /> Kayo Status Report page 9 r <br /> July 22, 1987 <br /> Several previous subsurface investigations have been conducted <br /> and have found soil and groundwater contamination. GMS and <br /> associates was contracted to review all the existing data and <br /> prepare a single comprehensive report. They found several <br /> Inconsistencies in the data and have recommended that several <br /> monitoring wells be abandoned and replaced . A proposal was <br /> submitted for the abandonment and RWQCB verbal approval was <br /> given. <br /> The targeted wells were properly abandoned and replaced in June <br /> 1987 according to the plan . New groundwater samples have been <br /> collected and Kayo is presently waiting for the results . A <br /> proposal for continued site investigation work and remediation <br /> will be prepared as soon as these results are received . <br /> Fast Gas <br /> 800 East Highway 12 <br /> Lodi, CA <br /> Env. Assessment Consultant : J .H. Kleinfelder and Assoc . <br /> Remediation Consultant : E. T . Dupont BioReclamation Group <br /> Several previous subsurface investigations have been conducted <br /> and have found soil and groundwater contamination. J.H. <br /> Kleinfelder has been contracted to review these existing data <br /> and conduct supplemental subsurface investigation work . and <br /> develop a comprehensive assessment report. The supplemental <br /> onsite drilling has been completed and the final report is being <br /> prepared . The report is due by June 15, 1987 . <br /> A groundwater recovery/treatment system has been installed at <br /> this site since November 1985. A groundwater recovery well has <br /> been operating and is pulling the contaminated water back toward <br /> the well . The Dupont in Situ Bioreciamation group has prepared <br /> a draft plan for continued subsurface investigation and bio- <br /> remediation of the contamination. This plan is presently being <br /> refined and will be ready to submit in August 1987 . <br /> Econo Gas Station <br /> 9325 East Washington <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Env.
