C <br /> 3 <br /> R <br /> 2'r• <br /> INA0 <br /> F <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> The following report presents the findings generated during a Preliminary Site Assessment <br /> performed at 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, California by NEI. The purpose of the <br /> assessment was to generate preliminary data concerning the possible occurrence of <br /> gasoline-Impacted soils caused by the former fuel tanks. Confirmation samples collected <br /> following tank removal indicated that gasoline-Impacted soils were present adjacent to the <br /> former fuel island and the 8.000-gallon underground gasoline tank. <br /> 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> The scope of services provided by NEI Included the following: <br /> • Prepared a site specific Health and Safety Plan; <br /> Advanced three soil borings to depths ranging from 40 to 50 feet bgs and collected <br /> soli samples at five-fcot intervals; <br /> • Continuously logged one soil boring to a depth of 50 feet bgs: <br /> • Logged soil samples and screened select soil samples with an Organic Vapor <br /> Analyzer(OVA); <br /> • Submitted eleven soil samples to a State-certified laboratory for analysis of: 'iPH, <br /> BTXE. EDC, and EDB using Modified EPA Method 8240. Total Lead analysis watt <br /> performed using EPA Method 7420: <br /> • Evaluated the data generated from drilling and sampling; <br /> Prepared this report presenting field data, analytical results. conclusions, and <br /> recommendations. <br />
