INTRODUCTION <br /> Harken Marketing Company of California (HMCC) presents this work plan to <br /> describe the task proposed to evaluate soil and ground water hydrocarbon contamination <br /> at HMCC Location #100966, 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br /> California. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The site is locates:at 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, San Joaquin County. The site <br /> previously operated as a gasoline station until closure on March 3, 1990 and tanks removed <br /> on March 8, 1990. The removal consisted of two (2) 10,000 and one (1)8,000 gallon steel <br /> underground storage tanks. <br /> LOCAL HYDROGEOLOGY <br /> The site area is underlain by alluvial fan deposits of the Great Valley and V.re of <br /> Recent age. These sediments consist of unconsolidated clay,silt,and sand, The topographic <br /> surface is nearly flat with a slight westward slope. The San Joaquin River is located <br /> approximately 4 miles southwest of the site. Lased on regional maps prepared from 1988 <br /> ground water data by San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, <br /> depth to ground water in the vicinity of the site to be approximately 25 feet with a direction <br /> 2 <br />
