• <br /> Beacon Cardlock Station Number 610 ssa 92-1001-01 <br /> 3300 Waterl m Road Page 3 <br /> Stockton, California <br /> One 550 gallon underground waste oil tank was removed from the site in June of 1987 Applied <br /> Geosystem personnel were present during the tank removal and collected one soil sample from a <br /> depth of 11 feet Laboratory analysis indicated no detectable soil contamination in the soil beneath <br /> the waste oil tank On February 20, 1992, SSB personnel examined the monitoring wells at the site. <br /> Only two of the wells could be opened (MW-2 and MW-3) and both were dry. <br /> 3.0 GROUND-WATER DATA <br /> Based on information obtained from the San Joaquin County Flood Control Water Conservation <br /> District spring ground-water report, the depth to ground water in the vicinity of the site is <br /> approximately 75 feet below ground surface. <br /> 4.0 DISCUSSION <br /> Due to the drop in elevation of the ground-water level at the site, the existing monitoring wells are <br /> Idry Further observation of hydrocarbon constituents in the ground water beneath the site is <br /> warranted based on the analytical results of previous ground-water samples collected from the site. <br /> The proposed work includes drilling three 90 foot soil borings at the site (approximately 15 feet <br /> into the saturated zone) and installing a 4 inch diameter ground-water monitoring well in each <br /> boring The proposed boring Iocations are presented on Plate 3 <br /> IThe proposed borings and monitoring wells should be sufficient to supply the necessary information <br /> to evaluate the presence of hydrocarbon constituents in the soil and ground water beneath the <br /> subject site <br /> SSB ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC <br />
