Supplement Case Closure August 22, 2002 <br /> Former Beacon#b 10, Stockton, CA Page 2 of 2 <br /> • MASS BALANCE CALCULATIONS <br /> Mass balance calculations were included in the January 24, 1995 AMV Request for Site <br /> Closure It is known over time that petroleum hydrocarbons degrade over time The <br /> amount of degradation has only increased since these calculations eight years ago <br /> UPDATED WELL SURVEY aJtA wsv �y <br /> Review of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) records indicates six wells <br /> may exist within Sections 42, 43, 53, and 54 of Township 2 North, Range 7 East (vicinity <br /> of the site) Copies of the DWR well togs are included in Appendix B Drinking water is <br /> provided to the site and surrounding neighborhoods by California Water Service <br /> Company A total of two wells may exist within a 2,000-foot radius of the site The <br /> information provided by the DWR for each well is compiled in Table 2 The locations of <br /> the wells are plotted on Figure 3 using the descriptions recorded on the well driller's <br /> logs provided by the DWR The closest well to the site is the residential domestic well <br /> located approximately 325 feet southwest of the subject site <br /> HISTORICAL DATA TABULATED <br /> Tables 1, 3, and 4 supplement Tables 5 and 6 found in the AMV Request for Site <br /> Closure (Appendix A) <br /> CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> This letter, along with the enclosed attachments, contains all information needed for site <br /> • closure Based on the site history, remedial activities (previous soil overexcavation), <br /> and results from the most recent groundwater monitoring event, conclusions drawn from <br /> the January 24, 1995 AMV Request for Site Closure (Appendix A) report and the May <br /> 10, 1995 Remediation Testing and Design letter (Appendix C) concerning the subject <br /> site, Doulos concurs this site should be closed and is not a risk to human health or <br /> resources of the State <br /> Sincerely, <br /> DOULOS ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. �{ED <br /> HPL E.
