Ik M1 The soil boring will be advanced using a truck-mounted drill rig'equipped with 8-inch hollow stem augers. The borings will be drilled, logged, and sampled following the protocol described in Attachment A. Following completion of the drilling, the borings will be backfilled following r protocol described in Attachment A. a f Task A03 - Reporting f Upon completion of the field activities and receipt of the analytical results, a report of findings will be prepared for client and agency review. The report will include: f f I • A description of the field activities, observations, and protocols I • Lithologic logs a • Tabulated results of soil samples with copies of certified'ianalytical results • Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field and 1 i laboratory work 4 • Kleinfelder's conclusions and recommendations based on the data acquired The attached cost estimate summarizes the costs for the fours soil borings. If additional services are required, our cost estimate could be further refined. ASSUMPTIONS AND CLIENT'RESPONSIBMITIES K • This proposal will be adequate to obtain authorization from the SJCEHD. If a more comprehensive workplan is necessary, additional charge for workplan preparation will be incurred. {, • Adequate work space and access will be provided. Peinfelder will attempt to advance the soil borings at the proposed locations. If the drilling equipment cannot be positioned, alternative drilling locations or sampling methods should be investigated. The borings are;to be drilled with a truck mounted drill rig equipped with hollow stem augers. If alternative drilling methods or concrete cutting are t required, additional costs maybe incurred.
