San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD) has the following comments for your considerAtion.
PHS/EHD agrees that additional monitoring wells and soil borings are necessary to continue remedial
investigation of the site. A minimum of three monitoring wells are 3needed to determine the groundwater
gradient and to investigate the extent of groundwater contamination. PHS/EHD also agrees that soil
borings will better define the boundaries of soil contamination.
Please submit the following by May 13, 1992:
:is selected;
1. a health and safety plan prepared by the consultant!which!
2. a scaled map illustrating the proposed location of Monitonng wells and soil borings;
3. a PHS/EHD permit application and the associated fee. :1
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Mary Meays REEFIS, of my staff at (209) 468-0337.
Jogi Khanna D., M.P.H.
Health 0
og'
Health
rie A.
