(AGE), and has the following comments.
In the Report AGE recommends a change in the groundwater monitoring and sampling
frequency. This site previously had been on a semi-annual schedule of monitoring and
sampling. In March 2008 five additional groundwater monitoring wells were installed and
monitoring and sampling was switched to a quarterly schedule until trends were
established in the new wells. AGE proposes a return to a semi-annual schedule for
impacted wells and an annual schedule for non-impacted wells.
The EHD agrees with a reduction in the sampling frequency and approves annual
sampling of wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-6, MW-10, MW-11 and MW-12, and
semi-annual sampling of wells MW-5, MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, MW-13, MW-14 and the
domestic well located at 4716 Waterloo Road. This change is effective immediately, with
the next semi-annual event to be conducted in August 2009. There is no change in the
analyses, which is restricted to 1,2-dichloroethane.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
loIit_
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
