lk� V <br /> 4.1.3 The owner/operator specifically requests a written permit be issued; <br /> or <br /> 4.1.4 The emissions unit is proposed in the control of emissions from a soil <br /> or groundwater decontamination project. <br /> 4.2 An Authority to Construct or Permit to Operate shall not be required for the <br /> following: <br /> 4.2.1 Any emissions unit, not specifically listed in Section 5.0, if the <br /> uncontrolled emissions of any air contaminant does not exceed two (2) <br /> pounds in any 24 hour period; <br /> 4.2.2 Any equipment used in agricultural operations in the growing of crops <br /> or the raising of fowl or animals, except that located in the area which <br /> is, in whole or in part, south of the Sixth Standard Parallel South, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, may be required to obtain permits <br /> for the operation of orchard and citrus grove heaters. In no event <br /> shall an operator be denied a permit for such heaters if the heaters <br /> produce unconsumed solid carbonaceous matter at the rate of one (1) <br /> gram per minute or less (Health and Safety Code, Section 42310(e)); <br /> 4.2.3 Any structure designed for and used exclusively as a dwelling for not <br /> more than four (4) families and any incinerator used exclusively in <br /> connection with such structure (Health and Safety Code Section <br /> 42310(b) and (c)); <br /> 4.2.4 Barbecue equipment which is not used for commercial purposes, <br /> (Health and Safety Code Section 42310(d)); <br /> 4.2.5 Motor vehicles as defined by the Vehicle Code of the State of <br /> California (Health and Safety Code, Section 42310(a)), but not <br /> including any emissions unit mounted on such vehicle, that would <br /> otherwise require a permit under the provisions of the District Rules <br /> and Regulations; or <br /> 4.2.6 Repairs or maintenance not involving structural changes to any <br /> emissions unit for which a permit has been granted (Health and Safety <br /> Code, Section 42310(f)). <br /> 4.3 Recordkeeping shall be required to verify or maintain any exemption for which <br /> the exemption is based on a maximum, daily limitation. <br /> srvvwrco 2020-2 10/21/93 <br />
