I <br />' 25 February 2005 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0104 <br />' Page 6 of 10 <br />' 100 feet bsg, the total depth of the boring may vary according to hydrogeologic conditions <br /> encountered during drilling Procedures for soil boring and sampling are discussed in Sections 4 1 <br /> and 4 2 <br />' Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br />' • TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br /> • BTEX and methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE) in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br />' • Fuel additives di-isopropyl ether (DIPS), ethyl tertiary butyl ether(ETBE), MTBE,tertiary <br /> amyl methyl ether(TAME),tertiary butyl alcohol(TBA), 1,2-DCA and ethylene dibromide <br />' (EDB) by EPA Method 8260 Modified <br />' Laboratory reports for the soil analyses,testing methods,laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> 3 3 MONITORING WELL COMPLETION, DEVELOPMENT, AND SURVEY <br /> IThe borings will be completed as two-inch diameter ground water monitoring well screened between <br /> 65 and 85 feet bsg and 95 and 100 feet bsg Following well completion,the wells will be developed <br /> to maximize water flow and minimize the amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well <br /> during pumping or bailing In addition, the monitoring wells will be surveyed by a licensed <br /> professional relative to a County of San Joaquin benchmark to determine the elevation of the casing <br /> head Procedures for well completion and development and survey are presented in Sections 4 3 and <br /> 4 4 , respectively <br />' 3 4 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br />' Ground water monitoring and sampling activities for the newly installed ground water monitoring <br /> well will be conducted on a semi-annual basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of <br /> monitoring is approved by the EHD Ground water monitoring activities will include recording the <br /> Idepth to ground water and collecting ground water samples, ground water sample collection <br /> procedures are described in Section 4 6 3 <br /> Ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> .
