Designated facility signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests(UHWM)were not found <br /> on-site. The missing manifests are: <br /> -001905125PSC(7/17/2018) <br /> -001965059PSC(9/10/2018) <br /> -000119412DAT(9/24/2018) <br /> -001996292PSC(10/8/2018) <br /> 2. The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the waste oil generated in the <br /> ammonia engine room for the past three years during the inspection.According to Anthony Harb, Safety/QA <br /> Manager, he does not know if TDI has ever disposed of waste oil in the past. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit a copy of the manifest <br /> to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control(DTSC)within 60 days if the destination facility signed <br /> manifest copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. <br /> A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance with section 66262.23(a)for <br /> three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which received the waste. This <br /> signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the waste was accepted by the initial <br /> transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br /> 1. Locate the the destination facility signed manifests listed above and maintain in the facility file for three years <br /> from the date of shipping. Send a copy to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD). <br /> 2.
