We <br /> would request that the Environmental Health Division review <br /> the report and provide us with comments as soon as possible. <br /> Please consider this letter as authorization to spend over- <br /> time on this review process . <br /> We are pleased with the results of the report in that <br /> they show no contamination from the tank which was being <br /> studied. However, I am disturbed by the results of those <br /> monitoring wells which show high levels of hydrocarbons . I <br /> am disturbed because it does not appear that this contamina- <br /> tion resulted from the Roek Brothers property. Once you have <br /> had an opportunity to evaluate the report, I would like to <br /> set up a meeting to discuss these issues with you as soon as <br /> possible. <br /> I am aware, Diane, that your department faces serious <br /> lack of staffing and tremendous amounts of work, and I do <br /> appreciate your attempt to expedite review of reports on this <br /> property in the past. As you know, we have a purchaser <br /> waiting for clearance of this property, and the delay has <br /> caused that purchaser to begin investigating other proper- <br /> ties. We are hoping that this matter can be resolved as soon <br />
