WILSON WAY; STOCKTON; APN 155-020-44
HYDROCARBON EVALUATION STUDY DATED APRIL 26, 1988'
We have reviewed the above referenced subsurface investigative
-'€ report.
In view of the fact that the referenced report was conducted in
accordance with guidlines outlined in the CRWOQB's September 1985
document, further assessmemt of the site will be necessary to
determine the nature and extent of contamination. Our review of
Balbi 6 Chang's report does not define the "zero line" of
contamination. In addition, seasonal fluctuations of the
groundwater in this area warrant a more comprehensive
investigation, i.e., groundwater monitoring wells.
It will be necessary for the responsible party or parties
claiming ownership of the property in question to initiate an
assessment of the possible contamination to define the areal
(vertical and horizontal) extent of contamination within soils
and/or groundwater. This assessment shall be supervised by a
California Registered geologist or certified engineering
geologist, or civil or professional engineer licensed in
California. Enclosed is our recommended format for preparation
and submittal of proposals.
In addition to the above and pursuant to the San Joaquin Local
Health District fee schedule Resolution No. 85-58, a $35.00
consultation fee shall be submitted along with the completed
general Environmental Health Application Form for review of the
above referenced environmental assessment/remediation activity.
Each additional hour over the initial one hour of time spent in
review activity will be billed at the rate of $35.00 per hour.
The additional amount due will be billed to the applicant
identified on the general Environmental Health Application Form
at the completion of requested activity, or monthly, if longer
than 30 days is required for completion.
i
