Rabia placed the wipes into a HW Flammables tote, since the same Car Care Protectant Wipes were also found in the HW Flammables tote mentioned above(IMG 4196). -Ray Lube Octane Booster labeled as flammable(IMG 4199-4200). Rabia placed the octane booster into a HW Flammables tote at the time of inspection. -Garnier Fructis Damage Control Shampoo(IMG 4201-4202), however according to the 99 Cents Only Stores Hazardous Waste Management CA 2019 employee training material, shampoos are classified as a toxic waste, and to be placed in the HW Corrosive Bases tote. All of the items listed above were identified as waste by the store manager, Rabia Mahmood, and were found in plastic bags labeled as hazardous waste at the time of inspection. The generator must ensure that all employees who handle hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures. Explain and provide proof of refresher training and training materials to the EHD for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. The generator manifest copy shall be mailed to: DTSC Generator Manifests P.O. Box 400 Sacramento, CA 95812-0400 Immediately mail a copy of the manifests listed and ensure that copies of all generator manifests are sent to DTSC within 30 days of shipping hazardous waste.
