Rabia placed the gel air fresheners into a HW Flammables tote, since another Cool Scents gel air freshener was found in the HW Flammables tote with accumulation start date 10/10/18(IMG 4193,4194). -A box of Baited Glue Traps in a bag labeled as HW(IMG 4153-4154). Rabia placed the glue traps into a HW Corrosive Bases tote at the time of inspection. -A Colgate Sparkling White toothpaste, an Arm &Hammer Ultra Max deodorant, and a Personal Care Total Sport deodorant stick in a bag labeled as HW(IMG 4155-4157). Rabia placed the toothpaste into a HW Oxidizers tote and the deodorants into a HW Flammables tote at the time of inspection. However, according to the 99 Cents Only Stores Hazardous Waste Management CA 2019 employee training material, deodorant and toothpaste are classified as a toxic waste, and to be placed in the HW Corrosive Bases tote. -Four sticks of colored chalk in a bag labeled as HW(IMG 4158). Rabia placed the chalk into the HW Corrosive Bases tote at the time of inspection. -Two Toccata candles in a bag labeled as HW(IMG 4159-4160). Rabia placed the candles into the HW Flammables tote at the time of inspection. -A flashlight,four shaving razors, and a container of Craftology Washable Finger Paint in a bag labeled as HW (IMG 4161-4163). Rabia placed the razors and the finger paint into a HW Corrosive Bases tote at the time of inspection, since the opened package of Craftology finger paints was later found in the Corrosive Bases tote(IMG 4165,4183). -The following items were found in the HW Corrosive Bases tote with accumulation start date of 10/10/18(IMG 4165): -A bag labeled as HW contained BK NYC Love Pop perfume labeled flammable(IMG 4174-4175), along with various other items such as makeup, markers, slime glue,two Loreal Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Blow Out Heatspray, and two solid air fresheners(IMG 4167-4175). However, The Accumulation Poster posted above the HW storage area states, "One Waste-One Bag," indicating only one type/item of waste should be placed in a single bag (IMG 4216). -Four aerosol cans-one of Pure Silk Shave Cream, one of Gillette Shave Gel, and two of Party String (IMG 4176-4182). Rabia placed the aerosol cans into the Flammables HW tote at the time of inspection. -An aerosol can of Exfresh Snow(IMG 4185). Rabia placed the aerosol can into the Flammables HW tote at the time of inspection. -A can of Comet Bleach powder(IMG 4192), however according to The HW Poster, bleach is classified as an oxidizer. Rabia placed the bleach powder into a HW Oxidizers tote. -The following items were found in a HW Flammables tote with accumulation start date 10/10/18(IMG 4193): -A Personal Care Total Sport deodorant stick(IMG 4195), although according to the 2019 employee HW training material, deodorant is classified as a toxic waste, and to be placed in the HW Corrosive Bases tote. -Car Care Protectant Wipes(IMG 4196). -Four containers of Alberto V05 Men 3 In 1 Shampoo Conditioner Body Wash (IMG 4204-4205)with shampoo leakage inside the bags, however according to the 2019 employee HW training material, shampoos are classified as toxic waste, and to be placed in the HW Corrosive Bases tote.Also, according to The Accumulation Poster"Rule #2"states"No Free Liquids"and indicates absorbent should be placed in the bag with the leaking item. -A container of Derm Cosmetic Labs Lavender Hand Soap(IMG 4206-4207), however according to the 2019 employee HW training material, soaps are classified as toxic waste, and to be placed in the HW Corrosive Bases tote. -LA's Totally Awesome Glue-Away Adhesive Remover Cleaner(IMG 4208-4210). Rabia called the Strongpak phone number listed on the HW posters posted above the HW storage area(IMG 4215-4216)to verify that adhesive remover should be placed in the HW Flammables tote.
