Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201-0388 <br /> Re: Overexcavation and Soil Sampling Workplan Associated with the Removal of <br /> Product Delivery Lines and Dispensers, for ARCO Service Station No. 5469, <br /> Located at 130 Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms. Briggs: <br /> At the request of ARCO Products Company (ARCO), Pinnacle Environmental Solutions, <br /> a division of EMCON (Pinnacle) has prepared this overexcavation and soil sampling <br /> workplan associated with the removal of product delivery lines and dispensers at ARCO <br /> Service Station No. 5469, 130 Wilson Way, Stockton, California. The contractor retained <br /> by ARCO will remove the product delivery lines and dispensers beginning February 11, <br /> 1999. This document presents proposed tasks associated with the removal and <br /> replacement of the product delivery lines and dispensers at the subject site. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following scope of work presents Pinnacle's procedures associated with the removal <br /> and replacement of the product delivery lines and dispensers. This work will be conducted <br /> in accordance with the Tri-Regional Guidelines. A Site Safety and Operations Plan is <br /> presented as an appendix to this document. <br /> Field Activities <br /> Product Delivery Line and Dispenser Removal and Verification Soil Sampling <br /> Pinnacle proposes to conduct the following scope of work associated with product <br /> delivery line and dispenser removal and verification soil sampling activities. <br /> Pinnacle will observe the removal of the existing product delivery lines and dispensers <br /> and collect one soil sample every 20 linear feet beneath the former product lines and one <br /> soil sample beneath each of the former dispensers.
