(Ground Zero) in response to <br /> correspondence from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD), dated <br /> August 6, 2008, approving a pilot test for soil vapor extraction and air sparging. EHD also <br /> requested additional groundwater investigation at the subject site in the August 6, 2008 letter. <br /> i <br /> The WP describes the activities to be performed in preparation and implementation of a pilot test+to <br /> i. <br /> determine if soil vapor extraction (SVE) combined with In-Situ Air Sparging (IAS) would be an <br /> appropriate remediation alternative for the Former Harry's Auto Mart (Site). The WP also <br /> discusses collecting additional groundwater information as commented on in the EHD letter dated i <br /> August 6, 2008. I <br /> BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE <br /> The Site is located at 2662 N. Wilson Way near the intersection of North Wilson Way and <br /> Sanguinetti Lane in Stockton California. Figure 1 shows the location of the Site and Figure 2 <br /> shows details in the vicinity of North Wilson Way.and Sanguinetti Lane. <br /> I <br /> The Site was a former gas station with four gasoline USTs located along the northwest and <br /> southwest sides of the building.
