G.0.5, indicates that valves are being installed on vacuum jumper tubing. Veeder root does <br /> not recommend installation of ball valves on vacuum jumper cables. Please provide <br /> clarification if these ball valves will be installed. <br /> Response: Plans have been revised to remove ball valves on vacuum jumper tubing <br /> 5. G.0.6.2, illustrates a direct bury spill bucket. Spill buckets must be installed in sumps. <br /> Response: The plans have been revised. <br /> 6. G.0.6.4, under additional notes, #7 indicates ball floats are to be installed. Ball floats cannot <br /> be installed. <br /> Response: The notes have been removed. <br /> 7. G.0.7.2, fill sump details doesn't match M.5.3.03 or M.5.3.18 sump details (sumps should <br /> look similar across install plans). <br /> Response: There are two different fill sumps for the project (single fill configuration vs. dual <br /> fill configuration). The purpose of the detail is for the ground-wire connection, which will be <br /> identical process for either sump. <br /> 8. M.5.3.01, for number 34, and 35 lists both OPW and Containment Solutions spill bucket <br /> sump shield,please verify which one will be used. <br /> Response: Both are correct items to be used. OPW will be used for Dual-fill configuration, <br /> the containment solutions will be used for the single-fill configuration. <br /> 9. M.5.3.03 and M.5.3.05: <br /> a. Buoyancy calculations need to be signed and stamped. <br /> Response: The plan has been signed and stamped. <br /> b. Dry weight for split tank listed on calculations as 12873lbs. Total gallons used in <br /> buoyancy calculations listed as 22,000 gallons.
