Kleinfelder and <br /> Associates to initiate the installation of additional ground <br /> water monitoring wells as recommended in the "Soil Assessment <br /> Report" dated March 18, 1986. The scope of work included: <br /> o Drilling three additional soil borings and collecting <br /> soil samples to obtain an accurate boring lithology. <br /> o Installing four-inch ground water monitoring wells in <br /> _. each of the soil borings. <br /> o Developing the newly installed monitoring wells, and <br /> collecting water samples from the three new and four <br /> existing monitoring wells . <br /> o Chemically analyzing the water samples for volatile <br /> aromatics (benzene, toluene, and xylene) by EPA Method <br /> 602. <br /> o Surveying well heads to further delineate the local <br /> ground water gradient under existing conditions. <br /> o Conducting a 24-hour pump test on one of the monitoring <br /> wells to obtain information on shallow aquifer <br /> properties . <br /> o Summarizing and presenting all field and analytical <br /> results obtained to date. <br /> ... <br /> 4 <br /> 19:531 <br />
