An
additional well(s) or existing well(s) would be utilized for this
i purpose.
o Disposition of reclaimed ground water to a recharge basin for
infiltration to the near surface aquifer. Available nearby
parcels of Land could be utilized for this purpose. If Guild
owns/leases land that is currently left fallow, a depression
{ could be constructed to contain the treated water and permit
percolation.
'V
r o Utilization of the reclaimed ground water for irrigation
purposes. This water could be distributed to co--op members or be
. sold to nearby agricultural entities. Application could be
conducted through rainbirds or direct surface irrigation.
},s Another possible source to sell water to is the Willow Oaks Golf
Course for irrigation and/or use in water traps.
r'
o Direct discharge of reclaimed ground water to either the
Mokelumne River or the storm sewer system. In considering either
of These choices, no local benefit is observed. The ground water
is depleted yet no recharge potential exists. This option is
' =s contrary to accepted water resource management practices.
h 3.10.2 DISPOSITION OF RECOVERED PRODUCT OR WASTE PlATMIAL
OBJECTIVE
Dispose of solid, liquid, and gaseous fractions of product or waste
through readily available techniques that are acceptable to the regulatory
agencies and which minimize fa cure risks or liability issues.
k :
}
t
33-87-887 22
Q
s
