' wells to be installed minimizing problems with flowing sands and in a <br /> more cost-effective manner The specific scope of work is as follows <br /> 1) Obtain all necessary permits and access agreements to conduct the <br /> investigation <br /> 2) Install and develop 13 additional groundwater monitoring wells <br />' downgradient of the site <br /> 3) Develop each newly installed monitoring well <br /> groundwater samples from the monitoring 4) Collect g p g wells <br /> 5) Analyze the groundwater samples for TPH-D, TPH-G, BTEX, and five <br /> oxygenates <br />' 6) Survey the location and top of casing elevations of the new monitoring <br /> wells <br />' 7) Dispose of the waste materials produced during the assessment <br /> 8) Prepare a report presenting the methods and findings of this <br /> assessment <br />' Each task is described in greater detail below <br />' TASK 1- OBTAIN NECESSARY PERMITS AND ACCESS AGREEMENTS <br /> ASE will obtain a drilling permit from the San Joaquin County PHS-EHD <br />' and an encroachment permit from the City on Manteca to allow for the <br /> installation of monitoring wells in the city street Access agreements will <br />' be obtained for the installation of monitoring wells on private property <br /> Our client and the San Joaquin County PHS-EHD will be notified of t h e <br /> drilling date at least 72 hours prior to all scheduled field work ASE will <br /> also notify Underground Service Alert (USA) of the project at least 4 8 <br /> hours prior to subsurface drilling to have underground utility lines <br /> 1 marked in the site vicinity <br /> TASK 2 - INSTALL 13 SOIL BORINGS DOWNGRADIENT OF THE SITE i <br /> ASE will drill thirteen (13) soil borings at the site for the installation of <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (Figure 7) Since the wells are to b e <br /> Frank's One Stop Workplan — September 2003 <br /> -13- <br />
