The groundwater sample collected from boring BH-C contained 0 57 ethyl
benzene, 3 1 ppb total xylenes and 0 55 ppb MTBE
10.2 Analytical Results - from the Off-Site CPT Borings
The groundwater samples collected from all off-site CPT borings were
analyzed by Kiff Analytical for TPH-D by modified EPA Method 3550/8015
and TPH-G, BTEX, fuel oxygenates, lead scavengers, alcohols and 1,2-DCP
by EPA Method 8260 The analytical results are tabulated in Table Three
Copies of the certified analytical report and chain of custody form are
included in Appendix I
The groundwater samples collected from 15-feet bgs in boring CPT-26
contained 630 ppb TPH-G, 54 ppb benzene, 1,400 ppb MTBE, 9 0 p p b
TAME, and 160 ppb TBA Groundwater samples collected from 41 -feet
bgs in this same boring contained an even higher MTBE concentration of
2,600 ppb, however, no compounds other than MTBE were detected
Groundwater samples collected from 91-feet bgs and 103-feet bgs in this
boring contained 58 ppb and 3 ppb MTBE, respectively The groundwater
sample collected from 103-feet bgs also contained 1 2 ppb 1,2-DCA
The groundwater samples collected from CPT-18, further downgradient,
contained MTBE concentrations of 92 ppb, 75 ppb, 3 7 ppb and 21 ppb at
depths of 16-feet bgs, 38-feet bgs, 57-feet bgs and 97-feet bgs,
respectively The groundwater samples collected from 38-feet bgs and
97-feet bgs also contained 059 ppb and 069 ppb 1,2-DCA, respectively
The only compound detected in groundwater samples collected from
boring CPT-17, crossgradient to the southwest from CPT-18, was 1 2 ppb
MTBE 1n the sample collected from a depth of 38-feet bgs No MTBE, or
any other compound, was detected in groundwater samples collected
from 16-feet bgs, 63-feet bgs and 92-feet bgs
No compounds were detected in any of the groundwater samples
collected from boring CPT-21, crossgradlent of boring BH-17 to the
northeast
The only compound detected in groundwater samples collected from
boring CPT-19 was 22 ppb TBA in the sample collected from 15-feet bgs
No compounds were detected in the groundwater samples collected from
41-feet bgs No deeper zones of high permeability were found in this
boring
Franks One Stop Report - March 2001
-16-
