Receiving water sampling may be postponed or <br /> eliminated if hazardous water conditions prevent safe access to the sampling locations and when prior <br /> approval is received from the Regional Board's Executive Officer. Receiving water monitoring shall <br /> include at least the following: <br /> Station Description <br /> R-1 100 feet upstream from the point of discharge <br /> R-2 500 feet downstream from the point of discharge <br /> R-3 1 mile downstream from the point of discharge <br /> R-4 2 miles downstream from the point of discharge <br />
