The report shall include,but is not limited to,an assessment of cumulative <br /> metals and nitrogen loadings from all sources,type of crop grown,nitrogen demand,and setback and 3Soluble salts shall be determined using test methods described in Methods of Soil <br /> runoff compliance,as well as compliance with pathogen reduction and vector attraction reduction Analysis,Part 2,Chemical and Microbiological Properties,Second Edition,Edited by <br /> standards. Page,Miller and Keeney;American Society of Agronomy,Inc.,Soil Science Society of <br /> America,Inc.:1982 Page 168 et seq.,or other acceptable test methods with prior <br /> Discharger shall submit annually a description of disposal methods,including the following information approval by the Executive Officer. Analytical results shall report the soil/water ratio. <br /> related to the disposal methods used at the facility. If more than one method is used,include the <br /> percentage of annual biosolids production disposed by each method. °Total Metals shall include analyses for Cadmium,Chromium,Copper,Lead,Nickel,and <br /> Zinc. <br /> a. For landfill disposal,include(1)the Regional Board's WDR numbers that regulate the <br /> landfill(s)used,(2)the present classifications of the landfill(s)used,and(3)the names and GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> locations of the receiving facility(ies). <br /> Prior to construction,plans and specifications for ground water monitoring wells shall be submitted to <br /> b. For land application,include(1)location of the site(s),(2)the Regional Board's WDR numbers Regional Board staff for review and approval. Wells shall comply with requirements of the Department <br /> that regulate the site(s),(3)the application rate in lbs/year(specify wet or dry),and(4) of Water Resources. Prior to sampling,the groundwater elevations shall be measured and the wells <br /> subsequent uses of the land. shall be purged of at least three well volumes until pH and electrical conductivity have stabilized. <br /> Samples shall be collected using standard USEPA methods. Groundwater monitoring shall include,at a <br /> c. For incineration,include(1)name and location of the site(s)where sludge incineration occurs, minimum: <br /> (2)the Regional Board's WDR numbers that regulate the site(s),(3)the disposal method of the <br /> ash,and(4)the names and locations of facilities receiving ash(if applicable). <br /> d. For composting,include(1)name and location of the site(s)where sludge composting occurs, Constituent Units Type of Sample Sample Frequency <br /> and(2)the Regional Board's WDR numbers that regulate the site(s). The following shall constitute the monitoring program: Ammonia,as Nitrogen mg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Nitrate,as Nitrogen mg/I Grab Quarterly <br /> Grab Units H <br /> Sampling PH Quarterly <br /> Measurement Units Soil Profile Frequency p Q y <br /> Nitrate Nitrogen mg/kg 4 feet' Annually' Electrical Conductivity'@ 25°C umhos/cm Grab Quarterly <br /> Kjeldahl Nitrogen mg/kg 4 feet' Annually' Total Coliform Organisms MPN/100 ml Grab Quarterly <br /> Title 22 Metals mg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Soluble Salts' mg/kg 4 feet' Annua11y2 <br /> Total Metals° mg/kg 4 feet' Annually' Groundwater elevation shall be used to calculate the direction and gradient of groundwater flow. <br /> Samples shall be collected at 1-foot increments. <br /> Elevations shall be measured to the nearest one-hundredth of a foot from mean sea level. The <br /> groundwater elevation shall be measured prior to purging the wells. <br /> 2Each location shall be sampled during the month of April. <br />
