28 December 2018 <br />AGE Project No. 18-4574 <br />Page 8 of 12 <br />AdvancedGeo <br />Environmental <br />KNI <br />It will be presumed that all hard surfaces in contaminated areas will have to be cleaned <br />(or demolished) and soft items (personal property, furniture, etc.) will have to be disposed. <br />The Preliminary Site Assessment Report will detail remedial activities, as necessary. <br />3.3.7. WASTE DISPOSAL AREAS <br />Based on AGE representative's visual assessment, the guest hallway bathroom was most <br />likely used for waste disposal. These surfaces will likely be cleaned regardless of <br />sampling results. <br />3.3.8. SOIL STAINED AREAS <br />Based on AGE representative's visual assessment, no specific areas on the property <br />were easily identified as stained locations. No staining of soil, dead or dying landscaping <br />was identified around the perimeter of the property nor in the backyard or small side yard <br />areas. <br />3.3.9. DRAINAGE AREAS <br />Based on AGE representative's visual assessment, no specific areas on the property <br />were easily identified as drainage areas. <br />Additionally, AGE found no record of an on-site septic tank at the residence. The <br />residence appears to be connected to the city's municipal sewer system. <br />3.4. JUSTIFICATION FOR PROPOSED SAMPLING AREAS <br />The sampling areas proposed are the most likely to have been used for equipment setup <br />or have the highest potential for residue contamination from cooking/conversion, personal <br />use or person to object transfer, based upon AGE's inspection of the facility and Agents <br />reports. <br />3.5. DESCRIPTION AND JUSTIFICATION FOR AREAS NOT SAMPLED <br />No areas of the residence have been excluded from sampling. <br />4.0. SAMPLING AND PROTOCOLS <br />At present, "acceptable" limits for residual methamphetamine concentrations have not <br />been established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the <br />Environmental Protection Agency, the California Department of Health Services, the <br />
