The scope of work in6ludes 1)generating a site safety plan, 2) <br /> drilling five soil borings using a geoprobe, and 3) reporting our find`ngs. The scope of work is designed to <br /> address site conditions since the removal of three 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) in f <br /> December of 1998, and to ascertain whether site closure is warranted,or further remedial steps are necessary. <br /> The proposed drilling locations are shown on Figure 2. Analytical data for soil samples collected during the <br /> UST removal are summarized in Table 1. <br /> l <br /> i r <br /> I <br /> SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN/PERMITTING s <br /> The Health and Safety plan has been prepared by IT Corporation as,Irequired by the Occupational Safety and <br /> Health Administration (OSHA) Standard"Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response"guidelines <br /> (29 CFR 1910.120). The plan will be reviewed and signed by all IIT Corporation personnel/subcontractors <br /> performing work on the site.
