C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. and Subsidiaries <br /> Policy Title: WICS Warehouse OS&D Procedures <br /> Final: Jan. 06, 2010 Date of Last Revision: Oct 24, 2019 <br /> Policy Number: WSOP-DR004.5 Date of Last Review: Oct 24, 2019 <br /> Prepared by: Mick Pfalzgraf/ Reviewed by: WSOP Review Committee <br /> Dave Fredericks <br /> Updated by: Warren Wilhoit Date of Update: October 24, 2019 <br /> 2.3 Porter/Slot Cleaner Bins <br /> (Note: This section applies to the individual(s)responsible for cleaning trash and damage out <br /> of the pick slots and aisles.) <br /> • Damaged product(broken boxes, dented cans, etc.) found is to be placed in the damage <br /> bin/slot that is nearest to the area you are working in. <br /> • When multiple cases of the same item with the same lot number and/or expiration date <br /> have been damaged all attempts should be made to combine the units without damage to <br /> make a full case and place it back into the pick slot. Only the cases that could not be <br /> repacked are to be placed in the damage bin. <br /> • Destroyed product(broken jars, leaking product, stained from other leaking product, etc.) <br /> is to be brought to OS&D and placed in the appropriate space at OS&D that has been <br /> clearly marked for this purpose. <br /> • Product found without packaging is to be placed directly into the dumpster and packaging <br /> found without product is to be taken to OS&D. <br /> • All trash bins to be dumped must be audited by a supervisor before they are dumped to <br /> ensure that no regulated waste, packaged product or loose packaging is being thrown <br /> away. <br /> • Once the audit is complete product can be put in the dumpster/compactor <br /> • For all incidents above that require immediate disposal of product, a Warehouse Damage <br /> Adjustment Sheet must be filled out completely detailing the incident. <br /> 2.4 Spills <br /> • Product spills need to be attended to quickly with the highest level of consideration given <br /> to safety and sanitation. <br /> • If the condition of the product allows, it should be taken to OS&D for disposition. If this <br /> is not possible the entire event including case quantity is to be recorded on a Warehouse <br /> Damage Adjustment Sheet and signed by a Supervisor. The product is to be reviewed and <br /> any regulated waste items should be taken to OS&D for appropriate processing and the <br /> balance can then be disposed of properly and the Warehouse Damage Adjustment Sheet <br /> provided to OS&D or Inventory Control to process the adjustment. <br /> 3. Store Returns—Issuing of Credit <br /> • Product that is not accompanied with authorized return paperwork cannot be processed <br /> into inventory. This product must be set aside until the Returns Logistics Department can <br /> determine the source and provide the necessary documentation. <br /> • Driver will go to OS&D with all paperwork including signed manifests and pick-up <br /> documents. <br /> WICS Warehouse OS&D Procedures pg 4 of 16 <br />
