In a letter dated June 20, 2012 (attached), the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) instructed our client, Mr. Elder, to conduct an off-site <br /> soil and groundwater Investigation (GWI), in accordance with AA&A's Off-Site Groundwaterinvestigation Work Plan, <br /> dated May 30, 2012(attached)and the CVRWQCB approval letter dated June 20,2012 (attached). <br /> Your office should have this case in your files as the existing wells were installed under the jurisdiction of your <br /> office before the case was transferred to the CVRWQCB. <br /> This off-site groundwater Investigation includes drilling&installing four off-site dual-nested groundwater <br /> monitoring wells (MW 14AB to MW 17AB)to depths of 30 and 70 feet each down-gradient from the source area at <br /> the following locations (see also Attached Figure 3): <br /> • MW 14AB northwest of the subject site located in the public way adjacent to northern sidewalk of West <br /> Yosemite Avenue, approximately 30 feet east of the intersection of West Yosemite Avenue and Rose Lane, south <br /> of the property located at 541 West Yosemite Avenue; <br /> • MW 15A/B northwest of the subject site in the public way, on the curb/parking lane of Rose Lane, approximately <br /> 155 feet north of the intersection of West Yosemite Avenue and Rose Lane, west of the property located at 112 <br /> Rose Lane; <br /> 4609 Russell Ave. • Los Angeles, Ca 90027 • Phone 323.913.4073• Fax 323.667.2336 <br /> www.amiadini.com • mail@amiadini.com <br />
