Recommendation: <br /> In May 2008, this site has 47 monitoring points. Trends have been long <br /> established for these wells and the Fund recommends the Responsible Party <br /> reduce the monitoring frequency of many of these nested wells. The Fund also <br /> recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP direct the Responsible Party to <br /> add an additional remedial technology to achieve Water Quality Objectives more <br /> rapidly. The Fund will review this site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, May 2009, this site has been under investigation for 15 years. <br /> Groundwater extraction is no longer an efficient technology. The San Joaquin <br /> County LOP has directed the Responsible Party to add an additional remedial <br /> technology to achieve Water Quality Objectives more rapidly. The Fund concurs <br /> and will review this site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, December 2010, by 1 December 2010 letter, the San Joaquin <br /> County LOP that the Responsible Party continue to conduct groundwater <br /> extraction and assesses the feasibility of soil vapor extraction to reduce residual <br /> mass in the source area.
