1
Larry Witwer
From: Barton,Jim@Waterboards <jim.barton@waterboards.ca.gov>
Sent: Monday,July 01, 2013 10:05 AM
To: Gabriele Baader
Subject: RE: Elder 2Q GWM Data
Attachments: 420YosemiteDocRev4-3-2013.pdf
Hi Gabriele,
Please note that my last letter provided direction concerning the need to conserve State funding and move the case
towards closure. The offsite wells were replaced by a Fate and Transport Model(see attached),which was originally to
be submitted within the Monitoring Report by 30 July 2013 (see below concerning GeoTracker uploads). This new data
supports the previous data that showed the plume is shrinking and concentrations are declining.
Also, GeoTracker no longer allows combined reports to be credited to multiple actions,so please separate the next
Monitoring Report from the Fate and Transport Model (two documents). Same goes for the Closure Report and any
Work Plans (I will eventually request one for well destructions prior to closure). Contact me with your
questions. Thanks.
Jim Barton
James L. L. Barton P.
