A copy of these permits is attached for your
reference.
The revisions we are making to the well construction are to change the wells from dual-nested wells as currently
permitted to two separate split wells which will be located next to each other and each having a different screen
interval and depth. This revised design will avoid the higher costs to abandon and remove the wells when the time
comes to close the case.
The dual-nested well construction involved installing one 2"casing to a depth of 30 feet below ground surface (bgs)
screened from 10 feet to 30 feet bgs and one 2"casing to a depth of 70 feet bgs screened from 55 feet to 70 feet bgs
in a 12"diameter borehole.
The revised well construction we are proposing involves installing one shallow well with a 2" diameter casing to a
depth of 30 feet bgs screened from 10 feet to 30 feet bgs in a 10"diameter borehole and installing a second split well
adjacent with a 2"casing to a depth of 70 feet bgs screened from 55 feet to 70 feet bgs in a 10"diameter borehole.
As such, we will now propose to install 8 split wells (MW14A, MW14B, MW15A, MW15B, MW16A, MW16B,
M W 17A,and MW 17B). The"A"designated wells are the shallow wells and the"B"designated are the deep wells.
4130 Cahuenga Blvd.,Suite 113. Los Angeles, CA 91602
Phone 818.824.8102.
