' <br /> ' 05 September 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 97-0333 <br /> ' Page 3 of 10 <br /> ' 24 INFLUENT MONITORING RESULTS <br /> In accordance with the requirements of CMPWD Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit No 02-1, <br /> t monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent sampling was performed on 24 January,24 February <br /> and 27 March 2003 for laboratory analysis of contaminants listed in Section 2 3 <br /> ' During all three monthly monitoring events,influent water samples detected TPH-g at concentrations <br /> as high as 6,000 micrograms per liter (µg/1) in the March 2003 sample TPH-d was detected in the <br /> January and February samples at concentrations of 220 µg11 and 280 µg11, respectively <br /> ' BTEX constituents were detected at concentrations as high as 480 µg/1 (xylene) in the February <br /> sample, in addition, the highest benzene concentration was detected in the February sample at a <br /> ' concentration of 170 µg/I <br /> MTBE was detected by EPA Method 8260 at concentrations as high as 6,700 µg/1 in the February <br /> tsample,TAME was detected during all three months at concentrations as high as 150µg/l,PCE was <br /> detected dunng all three months at concentrations as high as 180 µg/l, TCE was detected during the <br /> January and February samples at concentrations of 26 µg/1 and 19 µg/l, respectively TBA was <br /> detected the January sample at a concentration of 120 µg/l <br /> ' The laboratory analysis did not detect any other constituents of concern Analytical results of pump- <br /> and-treat influent-water samples(Castle Analytical Laboratory Reference Nos 5420, 5494 and Cal <br /> Tech Environmental Laboratories I D 0303-185-30/31/32) are summarized in Table 1, laboratory <br /> ' reports are in Appendix A <br /> t25 EFFLUENT MONITORING RESULTS <br /> In accordance with the requirements of CMPWD Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit No 02-1, <br /> ' monthly ground water pump-and-treat effluent monitoring was performed on 24 January, <br /> 24 February and 27 March 2003 for flow rate and laboratory analysis of contaminants listed in <br /> Section 2 3 <br /> ' Laboratory analysis of pump-and-treat effluent grab water samples collected on 24 January, 24 <br /> February and 27 March 2003 did not detect any constituents of concern Analytical results are <br /> ' summarized in Table 1, laboratory reports are in Appendix A <br /> ' Utilizing a Blue-White Industries F-2000 flow meter,total flow(totalizer)was recorded between 12 <br /> December 2002 and 27 March 2002 (Table 5) During this time, the pump-and-treat interim <br /> remediation system was in operation for approximately 105 days Based on 183,191 gallons of water <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnviroamental,Inc <br />
