CHRONOLOGY <br /> TED PETERS TRUCKING CO, INC <br /> 1985 YOSEMITEIAVENUE <br /> MANTECA, CA 95336 <br /> 07/30/97 Removed 1000-gallon gasoline underound storage tank (UST) ID <br /> #39142701. Tank has holes and soil has odor and gray color. Pit was lined <br /> with 6-mm poly plastic and stockpile backfilled into the pit 8'below grade. <br /> 08/01/97 Transported and disposed UST to A&S Metals at 1616 Angelo Way, <br /> Modesto 95351. <br /> 08/06/97 Analytical results of soil sample TP-1 from south end of the tank pit at 7 feet. <br /> below grade (bsg) were 204 micrograms per kilogram (µg/kg) of benzene, <br /> 7,090 µg/kg of toluene, 2,470 µg/kg of ethyl-benzene, 14,900 µg/kg of total <br /> xylenes, 83,500 µg/kg of MTBE (no it confirmed by EPA Method 8260),and <br /> 298 milligrams per kilogram of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons. Soil sample <br /> TP-2 from north end of the tank pit at 8 feet bsg were all not detect except <br /> for 9 µg/kg of MTBE. <br /> 10/17/97 Filed Unauthorized Release Report 97-U40. Failed leaching potential. <br /> 10/20/97 Filed Prop-65 97-147. <br /> i <br /> 02/05/98 Mailed"Notice of Responsibility" letter notifying responsible party that the <br /> site has been entered into Local Oversight rsight Program and that additional <br /> investigation and cleanup is required. <br /> 08/25/98 Identified a private well approximat ly 160 feet northeast of the former UST. <br /> Well is not used for drinking according to responsible party. <br /> 07/19/99 Installed 3 monitoring wells to 20 feet bsg and 2 hydropunch soil borings to <br /> 21 and 26 feet bsg in the vicinity of the former tank pit. Analytical results of <br /> all soil and grab ground water samples were not detect except for the soil <br /> sample from MW-2 about 10 feet elst of the tank pit at 5 feet bsg. MW-2 <br /> soil samples at 10 feet and 15 feet bsg were also not-detect. <br /> 05/02/00 Received list of record title owners. <br /> 09/11/00 EHD received a 2000-foot well receptor survey and labeled map and well <br /> construction details. No well appeared to be under threat by the <br /> contamination at the site. <br /> 01/17/02 Five quarters of sampling have been conducted at the site between July 1999 <br /> and January 2002. Low levels of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> have appeared infrequently in MW 1,but most analytical results of all three 3 <br /> wells were not detect. <br /> 04/16/03 Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board agreed with this office <br /> that this site is a potential candidate for no-further-action status. <br />
