The press <br /> contains 25 plates with removable filter cloths on each <br /> face of the plate . During filtration , sludge is trapped <br /> between the cloth-covered plates and the excess water <br /> squeezed out by the hydraulic ram. The press has a steel <br /> bin underneath it to catch the sludge when the plates are <br /> opened . <br /> H) The two accumulation tanks are polypropylene tanks with <br /> a nominal capacity of 2500 gallons each and are about 4 <br /> years old . These tanks are equipped with appropriate <br /> filters and pumps for receiving treated wastewater from <br /> the clarifiers . Plumbing arrangements enable the <br /> contents of one tank to be re-circulated and mixed for <br /> sampling while the other is filling . <br /> I ) The Miscellaneous Waste Receiver Tank (MWRT) is a nominal <br /> 400 gallon rectangular polypropylene tank about 7 years <br /> old . It is equipped with a pump for transferring <br /> Miscellaneous Waste (MW) to the WRT . <br /> J ) The Developer Receiver Tank (DRT) is a 1000 gallon <br /> polypropylene tank about 3 years old . It is used to <br /> receive the non-metal bearing waste from the dry film and <br /> solder mask developers . It is equipped with a pH <br /> electrode and controller and also acid delivery lines for <br /> pH adjustment . <br /> K) The Final Receiver & Discharge Tank ( FRDT ) is a 500 <br /> gallon polypropylene tank about 4 years old . It is <br /> equipped with a pH monitor for final monitoring , pH <br /> adjustment , and alarm. <br />
