Advanced Metal Plating <br /> Sampling Report <br /> Page 4 <br /> Two plating tanks (Tanks 27, 36) . Both contained <br /> liquids which had heavy metal concentrations that <br /> exceeded hazardous waste levels. <br /> Two plating rinse tanks (Tanks 38, 50) . Tank 38 <br /> contained liquid which exceeded the hazardous waste <br /> level for Chromium. Tank 50 contained liquid which was <br /> below hazardous waste levels for heavy metals. <br /> One tank which was part of an evaporation system. <br /> The tank contained liquid which had heavy metal <br /> concentrations that exceeded hazardous waste <br /> levels. <br /> Two floor samples. Both samples contained material <br /> which had heavy metal concentrations that exceeded <br /> hazardous waste levels. <br /> one drum containing soiled rags. The rags were <br /> contaminated with heavy metals which exceeded the <br /> hazardous waste level for zinc. <br /> Two tank lift stations which held rinse water prior to <br /> treatment. Both contained liquid which was below <br /> hazardous waste levels for heavy metals. <br /> Three black open drums containing liquid material . All <br /> were below hazardous waste levels for heavy metals. <br /> Two large bins at west end of the shop. Both contained <br /> sludge which had heavy metal concentrations that <br /> exceeded hazardous waste levels. <br /> Solid concrete with orange stains which was collected <br /> outside a roll-up door on the south side of the <br /> building. The sample was below hazardous waste levels <br /> for heavy metals. <br /> Two soil samples collected below outside drain spout. <br /> Both samples had concentrations of heavy metals which <br /> exceeded hazardous waste levels. <br /> One background soil sample was collected to demonstrate <br /> levels of heavy metals in non-contaminated soil. The <br /> sample was below hazardous waste levels for heavy <br /> metals. <br />
