PROPER TRUCK LOADING PROCEDURES <br />No hazardous material license is needed if total weight of chemicals in technician trucks <br />under 500Ibs. <br />May not exceed 50 gals/12.5 cases of muriatic acid without a hazmat lic. <br />No chemicals are to ever be stored on the inside of the truck cab. Only to be placed <br />properly in truck bed. <br />MSDS (MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS) <br />Must be a current list of each chemical stored in your truck. <br />Must be kept in a visible and easy to reach place inside the truck cab. (In door shelf or <br />on passenger seat) <br />-Must have emergency phone list on front page of binder. <br />Muriatic Acid and Chlorine Tablets must be separated, not stored next to each other. <br />Chemical cases should be strapped down. <br />All chemicals must be in its original container. <br />All chemicals must have a lid securely closed. <br />Vintage Pool is held liable for the cleanup of contaminated parking lots, roadways and <br />drainage ditches. Never continue to drive a vehicle with leaking hazardous material; <br />even to find a phone, help or any other reason. <br />Park truck where it has been identified a leak is occurring. <br />Secure the area. <br />Stay at site. <br />Call the office. <br />7
