Wrenches with sprang jaws,where slippage could occur-, <br /> impact tools with mushroomed heads, and wooden handled tools with cracks or splinters are examples of <br /> unsafe hand tools. <br /> Tools having defects that will impair their strength or render them unsafe will be tagged or made <br /> inoperable and removed from service. <br /> Guards must be in place during operation on all power tools designed to aeconunodate them. Guards and <br /> safety devices must remain in plate on power tools unless removed acoaaling to manufacturer's upon <br /> for maintenance by a competent person and must be replaced before use.
