<br /> -Two bottles of One'N Only Colorfix Part 1: Color Reducer were found in the Aerosols, Flammables, &
<br /> Combustibles HW tote(IMG 2996),while this item was also found in the Oxidizers HW tote(IMG 3053-3054).
<br /> - Derma E Essentials Overnight Peel and Derma E Firming DMAE Serum with Alpha Lipoic and C-Ester were found
<br /> in the Aerosols, Flammables, &Combustibles HW tote (IMG 2997-2999).
<br /> -A bottle of Curly Kids Super Detangle Spray was found in the Aerosols, Flammables, &Combustibles HW tote
<br /> (IMG 3003-3005).
<br /> -Two containers of Beauty Secret Dip Kit Acrylic Powder Nail Color were found in the Aerosols, Flammables, &
<br /> Combustibles HW tote(IMG 3006-3007).
<br /> -A bottle of ProLinc Callus Eliminator was found in the Aerosols, Flammables, &Combustibles HW tote(IMG
<br /> 3011-3013).
<br /> -Two containers of Eco Style Professional Styling Gel Black Castor&Flaxseed Oil were found, one in the
<br /> Aerosols, Flammables, &Combustibles HW tote, and the other in the Toxic&State Regulated HW tote (IMG
<br /> 3021-3022, 3024-3025).
<br /> -Two containers of Eco Style Professional Styling Gel Olive Oil was found in the Toxic&State Regulated HW tote
<br /> (IMG 3021, 3023).
<br /> -A container of Silk Elements Strength'N Silk Edge Gel with coconut oil&silk was found in the Toxic&State
<br /> Regulated HW tote(IMG 3026-3028).
<br /> -Surgi Wax was found in the Oxidizers HW tote,while containers of Gigi Creme Wax and Gigi Milk&Honee Wax
<br /> were found in the Corrosive Acids HW tote(IMG 2965-2968, 2973, 3049-3052).
<br /> -When asked how an item is determined to be placed in the Aerosols, Flammables, and Combustibles HW tote
<br /> when there is no indication on the item that it is flammable, nor does it follow what is written on the HW labels,the
<br /> store manager stated if he finds alcohol,oils, or fragrance (partum)in the ingredients he places the item into the
<br /> Aerosols, Flammables, and Combustibles HW tote. However,the following was found:
<br /> -Containers of Kurlee Belle Banana Nut&Avocado Deep Treatment,Thirsty Kurl Leave-in Conditioner, and Kurl
<br /> Defining Creme contained alcohols, oils, and fragrance(parfum)in their ingredient lists, and were found in the Toxic
<br /> &State Regulated HW tote(IMG 3027, 3037).
<br /> -A bottle of Just For Me Step 1 B Liquid Activator Children's Texture Softener with olive oil, coconut oil, and
<br /> avocado oil was also found in the Toxic&State Regulated HW tote(IMG 3047-3048).
<br /> -A Container of Kurlee Belle Jelle Coconut Styling Gel with coconut oil and fragrance in its ingredient list was found
<br /> in the Aerosols, Flammables, and Combustibles HW tote(3038-3040).
<br /> The store manager identified all of the above listed items as waste at the time of inspection.
<br /> -After reviewing the contents of the totes, the Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. Hazardous Waste Training Guide was
<br /> reviewed,which contained "Hazardous Materials: Examples,"which listed types of products under each of the six
<br /> hazardous waste categories (IMG 3067-3068). These lists contained additional guidelines/examples for waste
<br /> determination.The store manager did not appear to use the lists in the binder when making waste determinations,
<br /> as he referred only to the labels on the HW totes at the time of inspection.
<br /> The generator must ensure that all employees who handle hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with proper
<br /> waste handling and emergency procedures.
<br /> Provide proof of training and training materials to the EHD for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous
<br /> waste.
