Facilities shall be <br />maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br />surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately metal fines , and manage <br />according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining <br />how this waste was managed. <br />Please begin cleaning brake lathe station after each use and/or the end of each work day. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 502 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Tank system inspections of discharge systems, monitoring equipment, and tank levels not <br />done daily. <br />Daily inspections of the discharge systems, monitoring equipment, and tank levels were not performed. No daily <br />tank inspection chart was observed at the facility for both the 100 gallon white tank of used coolant and the 300 <br />gallon black tank of used oil. Immediately begin to conduct daily inspections of the discharge systems, monitoring <br />equipment, and tank levels for all tanks containing hazardous waste. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 602 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(B) Stored satellite accumulated waste on site longer than one year or 180 days after fill date. <br />One white 100 gallon tank of used coolant has not been sent for disposal since 2.22.2018. Satellite accumulated <br />waste shall not be stored on site for more than 180 days after the container was filled, or a total of one year, <br />whichever comes first. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br />manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 603 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(C) Failed to mark initial accumulation start date on satellite containers. <br />one 55 gallon black container of used paper oil filters was observed with no accumulation start date. One 5 gallon <br />white bucket of brake lathe shavings observed with no accumulation start date.
