October 1,2019 <br /> Owens-Brockway Glass Container Inc. <br /> Response to San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's <br /> August 21,2019 email regarding a July 2019 RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Generator Inspection Report <br /> Response to Item#102 (2): <br /> The off-white substance on the floor was collected in a plastic bag, which was shipped to a <br /> laboratory for analysis; none of this material remains on site. The lab results are provided with <br /> this letter. The material was found to be non-hazardous. <br /> Item #502- CCR 66265.192(a) Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system <br /> assessment requirements. <br /> Submit a schedule documenting when the tank assessment for the 1,550 gallon oily water tank <br /> will be accomplished, or submit the tank assessment if it is complete. <br /> Item#503- CCR 66265.192(k) Hazardous waste tank assessment is incomplete. <br /> Submit a copy of the amended tank assessments for the two 1,000 gallon used oil tanks. <br /> Response to Items#502 and 503: <br /> We have hired GHD, a Professional Engineer registered in California to perform tank integrity <br /> testing and prepare the written assessments. The work is not yet complete as of this writing; <br /> although significant progress has been made.
