Possesses a valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s ) of the <br /> component (s) being tested , repaired , or serviced . <br /> 6 . Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site <br /> who possesses all of the following : <br /> a . A valid , current contractor' s license issued by the Contractors State License Board , and <br /> b . A valid , current UST Installation /Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br /> Council ( ICC) , and <br /> c . A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s ) of the component (s ) being <br /> installed . <br /> 7 . Log into the California Environmental Reporting System ( CERS ) , complete and submit a " UST <br /> Certification of Installation/Modification " form for the diesel turbine sump within 30 days of <br /> repairs . <br /> 8 . The tank owner or operator shall log into CERS and ensure all UST information is current . <br /> 9 . All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization ( UL , ULC , ANSI , API , ASTM , etc . ) . See California Code of <br /> Regulations ( CCR) Title 23 , Chapter 16 , Table B for a complete list . <br /> 10 . Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval .
