Broken glass may be placed into this <br /> container as well. <br /> ® Soak contaminated surface with disinfectant/ cleaner and wipe with clean paper <br /> towel in order to clean . This may need to be repeated. <br /> ® Soak again with the disinfectant and let sit according to manufacturer' s instructions <br /> in order to disinfect for TB . Be sure to block off the area to reduce potential of slips <br /> and falls. <br /> ® Dispose of all PPE and cleanup materials into the bag or container and use hand <br /> wipes / gel or wash hands as soon as feasible . <br /> ® Review procedures to determine the cause of this spill and if changes in policy and <br /> procedure need to be made . <br /> ® Spills that may impact the environment or present a clear and imminent public <br /> health hazard should be reported to the Banfield CTS Regulatory Compliance <br /> Specialiste <br /> Should disruption of pickup service or natural disaster occur, this hospital shall store <br /> contained waste in a secure area until disruption ends ; but for no longer than 30 days .
