Environmental Health Department
AMENDED
11/12/2019
Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report
Date:
August 12, 2019
Facility Address:
23456 E FLOOD RD, LINDEN
Facility Name:
LONE TREE CREEK VINEYARDS-LINDEN
Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). To schedule an
appointment, please call (209) 468-3420.
Notes: The emergency contingency plan submittal on CERS has emergency coordinator information, but a
modified contingency plan was filled out on site and posted in the employee notification area of the shop.
The following violation was observed and is noted here because it is a first time violation and has been
corrected on site.
The portable used oil storage tank was observed without a hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste
containers shall be marked with the following information:
- the words “Hazardous Waste”
- name and address of generator
- hazardous properties
- physical state
- composition (contents)
- accumulation start date
Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information.
Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous
waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. This was
corrected on site.
Waste streams observed: scrap metal, used oil, empty pesticide containers, empty drums.
Inspector provided: hazardous waste label, modified contingency plan, labeling guidance.
AFTER THE COMPLIANCE DATE, EHD WILL BILL FOR ALL TIME AND ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH BRINGING
THIS FACILITY BACK INTO COMPLIANCE.
THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
Received by: Inspector Phone:
(209) 468-3562 CHRISTINE LAWRENCE, EH Specialist
Inspector:August 12, 2019 Date:
Printed Name and Title:
Brandon Costa, Vineyard Operations Coordinator
FA0025246 PR0544405 SC001 08/12/2019
EHD 22-01 Rev. 9/20/2019 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIRPage 5 of 5
1868 E.
