No accumulation start date was observed on the label.All <br /> hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation start date. <br /> Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are marked with the required information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> One blue 55 gallon poly drum containing used oil (over 3/4 full)and one 300 gallon used oil tank(over 2/3 full)were <br /> observed without an accumulation start date. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per <br /> month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 <br /> days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Near the office, one blue 55 gallon poly drum containing used oil (over 3/4 full)was observed without a hazardous <br /> waste label. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label the container and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the <br /> complete report which replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. <br /> The following minor violation was corrected on site: <br /> An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking.
